The Bible
We believe the Bible consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired inherent infallible authoritative written word of God.
God
We believe in one God and three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each sharing the same nature, existing in loving communion with one another. The triune God is self existent without beginning or end, unchanging, eternal, self-sufficient omnipresent, the creator and sustainer of everything. He is all powerful, all knowing, all wise and all good.
Man
We believe man was created by God in his own image. By his rejection of God in the garden of Eden sin and death entered this world. All of Adams descendants share in his sin. All people are born spiritually dead in their trespasses and sins.
Salvation
God in His great mercy has provided a savior to remove the guilt of our sin, to reconcile us to himself, and give us eternal life.
This good news is fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ who is the second person of the trinity He has taken on human flesh. He is both truly man and truly God in one person.
Through His life, death, and resurrection God’s perfect justice has been satisfied so that any person who repents of their sin and puts their faith in Him receives salvation.
We believe that’s the Holy Spirit is the author of this salvation. He softens hard, unbelieving hearts and opens blind spiritual eyes to see the glory of Jesus enabling people to repent and trust in Christ.
The Church
We believe that all who have been made spiritually alive in Christ are united to Christ and are the body of Christ.
The End of all Things
We believe in the future bodily physical return of Jesus Christ.
We believe there will be a final judgment in which all persons who have ever lived shall appear before Christ to give an account of their thoughts words and deeds.
Romans 2;8, 9 describe this final day
“He will give to each one according to his works. to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness there will be wrath and fury.”
Jesus describes it in this way from John 11:23. “ I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me though he die yet he shall live and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.”
We believe in the future restoration of all things when God establishes His final rule through Christ and makes all things right, where justice and righteousness reign forever under Gods eternal sovereignty.
