Saratoga Chapel Weekly Spotlight – June 17, 2018
WELCOME VISITORS – Thank you for worshiping with us this morning. Please stay and visit with us during coffee hour after the service. Nursery is available throughout the service. Children ages 4 and up are dismissed for Junior Church during the service. Please fill out the Visitor Card in the bulletin and drop it in offering plate, so we can acknowledge you and get to know you better.
SECOND SUNDAY LUNCH: Summer season has started and we will not be having a lunch after service until September.
VBS JUNE 25-29th: GAME ON! .
REGISTRATION: Go to the church web site saratogachapel.com and click on the VBS tab at the top. The VBS page has a link for signing up. Call Becky Mancuso 518-368-3354, if you have any questions.
VOLUNTEERS: The last training is Friday June 15th at 6:00 pm. Come if you can.
OPPORTUNUTIES TO HELP: Saturday June 23rd we will be preparing the church for VBS. Come on anytime you are available. A morning start time will be announced soon. Also we need extra help to set up for the VBS parent picnic on Friday the 29th, please let Becky know.
PATTERSONVILLE CAMP COUNSELORS: Are you looking for experience in ministry or working with kids? Do you simply just love Jesus and want to serve Him? Camp Pattersonville is looking for male and female counselors who are 18 or older. This summer come work in the mission field right in your backyard! ALPHA PREGNANCY BABY BOTTLE DRIVE: The Alpha Pregnancy bottle drive has started. Pick up a bottle in the hallway and fill it with loose change or bills. You will be saving a LIFE! We need the bottles back by Sunday July 29th.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE, has started meeting to select officers for the chapel. Please support them with prayer as they work on this important task.

YOU are invited to join us for a discussion around the book “Imagine Church” by Neil Hudson. which encourages churches to take seriously Christ’s call to whole-life discipleship in the church and beyond. Time: Sunday mornings, 8:30-9:30 Place: in the adult Sunday School room beside the kitchen. Everyone is welcome.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL will start at 8:30 AM and be led by Pastor Jim and held in Pastor Jim’s office. We will be studying Luke 5, focusing on living out your faith in the world
PHILIPPIANS a new women’s inductive Bible study on the book of Philippians will begin on May 2nd at 1:00 pm, and held weekly at the Mancuso home. We will use a workbook written by Keri Folmar ($10). Please let Becky Mancuso know if you want to be part of this group so that enough workbooks can be ordered. All women are welcome.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The men’s Bible study that meets on Wednesday mornings will be RESTARTING Wednesday April 25th at 7:30 am.
