WELCOME VISITORS – Thank you for worshiping with us this morning. Please stay and visit with us during coffee hour after the service. Nursery is available throughout the service. Children ages 4 and up are dismissed for Junior Church during the service. Please fill out the Visitor Card in the bulletin and drop it in offering plate, so we can acknowledge you and get to know you better.
THIS SUNDAY: Alex Crum and family will be with us. As you know Alex moved to Texas and is now with Wycliffe’s SIL organization. Alex will be giving a report on his work with SIL. There will be a lunch following the service. Everyone is welcome. This will be a good time to fellowship with the Crums.
A NEW DATE FOR HORIZONS INTERNATIONAL DINNER: The chapel is again blessed to be able to host the Spring Horizons dinner. It will be Saturday May 5th at 6:00 pm. We need a lot of helpers to set up and if everyone would bring a casserole it would help feed the international students. Please see Erna if you can help.
Imagine a Church -- where we see our workplaces, homes, neighborhoods and communities as significant places for spiritual formation, growth and mission.
Imagine a Church -- where we come prepared to encourage, equip, and resource each other for specific purposes God calls us to in those places as part of our everyday lives and to value and validate those purposes as part of God’s larger mission to the world.
Imagine a Church -- where we come together to help each other navigate the challenges of living in a post-Christian culture among folks with differing perspectives and learn how to build a meaningful relationship with them.
YOU are invited to join us for a discussion around the book “Imagine Church” by Neil Hudson. which encourages churches to take seriously Christ’s call to whole-life discipleship in the church and beyond.
Time: Sunday mornings, 8:30-9:30
Place: in the adult Sunday School room beside the kitchen.
